Sometimes the best place for therapy is the place where your family already feels safe: your home. Therapy in your home from Northeast Family Services brings a team of an in-home therapy provider and a therapeutic training and support worker directly to you. There is no need to coordinate transportation, take time off work, or get everyone out the door on time.

Our providers work with children, teens, and families dealing with behavioral challenges, emotional difficulties, trauma, and family conflict. Sessions happen in the living room, at the kitchen table, or wherever your family feels most at ease. Because your provider sees you in your environment, they gain a deeper understanding of your family that an office visit simply cannot provide.

Therapy in your home is a good fit for children and teens who struggle to engage in a traditional office setting, families dealing with behavioral or emotional challenges, parents who need support managing a child's difficult behaviors at home, and households where transportation is a barrier to consistent care.

This service is available in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York. It is part of state-funded home and community-based programs in each state: Massachusetts Children's Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI), New York Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS), and Rhode Island Home- and Community-Based Services (HBTS/ABA/PASS).
